Colour and Calm

Continuing with the natural world theme, what could be more appropriate following the recent   famous Chelsea Flower Show in London, than highlighting some examples from the world of plants and flowers.

If you are feeling a bit down due to  work issues, or wondering how to negotiate cost of living finances, spending time relaxing  and appreciating plants and flowers will give the spirits a lift.

At Chelsea, it takes months of hard work and dedication to develop and nurture the plants which are eventually assembled to create show stopping gardens of all kinds and colours.

Nature doesn`t need a designer. or expensive props. Left alone it will create  colourful, artistic, scented displays which are in keeping with their habitat.

Whether it is a single bloom in a container or a lavish floral display, flowers and foliage have a calming and  relaxing  effect which benefits mental health.
